Wheels ‘Feel About Me’

Big Life Music approached me to produce and direct this video for UK act Wheels, now called Storms. The idea was to create some ‘Americana’ in the heart of Essex. It was a really fun project with a great performance from the band and an introduction to the complexities of stop motion for me. Look out for the cameo performance from my dog, Taro.

Crashing Blue

A bit of a mash up I made a few years back. I didn’t shoot the footage; it was shot for an insurance commercial. The production company, Gloss, then asked me to see what I could make from it as they had some awesome rushes which had lost impact in the TVC. They were so happy with the results they used it as a promo video for the company.

This is Japan

A few years ago I was given an opportunity to take my camera around Japan. I came back with these images and a whole lot more in my head.

Glitches ‘Glitches Lived’

A short observational documentary following an English band, The Glitches, as they are evicted from their beautiful, period Victoria (London) flat. Co-directed and shot with my colleague David Linton.

Vive la France

Whilst on a recent trip to France I took the opportunity to take some timelapse images. Throw in a dash of appropriately “Allo Allo” music and voilĂ !

Razorfish

The good people at razorfish challenged me to create a finished video in 2 days, without the use of lights and crew, and capture the character and professional nature of their team. Job done.

BBC Olympic Website Promo with Gary Lineker

This piece was shot in house by the BBC and then handed over to myself and the creatives at Red Bee Media. Together we came up with a concept that really brought the website alive. Our only brief was to ensure that it didn’t look like a boring screen capture on how to use the website whilst simultaneously showing the key features in a clear and concise way.
